Athens Area TEA Parties

Have you been Taxed Enough Already? If so, you can participate in one of the “Tea Party” protests scheduled for the Athens area on Tax Day, 15 April. They include:

so TEA is an acronym now? so no throwing caffeinated beverages into the Oconee? lame.

I've seen "tea" in the Revolutionary War sense and "TEA" in the acronym sense. From my perspective, either will do just fine.

By the way, I would bet that actually dumping tea into the Big Muddy would violate some sort of ordinance here in Clarke County. :)

Depending on the content and amount of your dumping of tea into the "Big Muddy" you would be in violation of the River and Harbor Act, the Clean Water Act, the Clean Drinking Water Act, not to mention littering laws at the state and local levels. Plus you'd probably need to get a NEPA permit.
