My alma mater
Indians posted an impressive 44-8 win over Habersham Central in their home
opener last Friday night. This week, the
Indians (2-0, 0-0) travel to Hartwell to face another long-time rival in Hart
County in what will now be a non-conference tilt. The Bulldogs (02, 0-0) are coming off of a 25-10
road loss to the Blessed Trinity Titans.
Following the win, the Indians jumped three spots, from
eighth to fifth, in this week’s Associated Press AAAA poll. The team remains in seventh place in the
Atlanta Journal Constitution’s Prep Zone poll.
